quotes:

“Above all else, guard your heart for it is the wellspring of life.” Proverbs 4:23 NIV

DONUTS ARE EVIL.  Just kidding.  They are REALLY yummy though.  Especially on a long commute to Hayward at 7 in the morning.

Seek and you shall find.  Ask, and it will be given.  Knock and the door will be opened.Matthew 7:1

These are days

…you’ll remember.  A day that I recall with my dad in the car, listening to KFOG after church (when I was still living at home), we were listening to Natalie Merchant’s “These are days.”  It is beautiful lyrics when you are in a dark place…

“these are the days that you might fill with laughter

until you break

those days you might feel a shaft of light

make its way across your face

and when you do

you’ll know how it was meant to be

see the signs and know their meaning”

Other times I felt this kind of light was during transitions like graduating, which I am looking forward to.

This is an attempt to CONNECT with those around me because as we all know the computer is a widely used tool/medium that is fun and different.  I feel the need to have something like this to just kind of be available somehow.  I am living here in my hometown, instead of trying to run away, (which is always the case) so I can achieve my degree and credentials for elementary teaching.  I am learning to see my world objectively and rightly.  It is a lot of work, this processing.    I never intended on running away, but I did and now I am back and wanting to stay for a lttle while….

Whas it Dorothy that said in “The Wizard of OZ?”

“Don’t go looking to far for your heart’s desire because if it isn’t in your backyard, it wasn’t there to begin with.”  Thanks Aunt Judy for that quote.

Demographically speaking, I left for only a year and did ywam.  Keeping in connection with others is nearly impssible so I came up with this and we’ll see how it goes.  I went to places like Africa (an amazing place), Mexico, and even Spain!  But if you want to see the whole world in one city, you might as well go to Los Angeles!

So here is my web log, aka BLOG, that will just be a little bit of Beth, (not too much) I hope that you like it! Warning:  DO NOT GO TO BLOG.COM, there are a lot of unsafe pictures on their home site.
